But let's go back to the beginning.
Left-blush; right-bronzer |
The texture is soft, creamy and powdery, easy to stick to the brush. But not so easy that you'd end up with way too much product on the skin, it's perfect to layer and get the desired final result - whatever this might be.
I'd normally use the bronzer more generously
and apply it allover my face. I would then dab two dots on the cheeks with the blush and this would make my face look very fresh. I would also often mix the two together if in a hurry and was always happy with the final results.
The bronzer stayed on for at least a few hours fading gradually and then by the evening time gone completely but this is to be expected for a powder-based product, especially if you buy it from an inexpensive drugstore brand.
Overall great results I thought.
But then in preparation for this post I took some pictures and... was surprised.
First, the colour looks way more orange and almost fluorescent than in the mirror. It seems to reflect light in some strange way and wasn't really sure what was the cause of that - still am unsure. I didn't use flash photography or anything else that could potentially bring this strange pigment in the bronzer. And while I really liked it on my face I started to think that
perhaps the bronzer is not so great after all.
And so now I am uncertain if I should recommend it. It is great on my face - at least that's what I see, but then it looks weird in pictures. I suppose on this occasion and have to leave to one's own judgement. I still like it but somehow I feel that I can't trust it anymore.
