Initially when I tried this mascara for the first time I just thought it was a below average mascara that clumped my lashes. Boots sent it to me otherwise I wouldn't have got it - as much as I like No 7 skin and body care I never quite warmed up to the idea of their make-up. However, not wanting to waste the product - I always try to use it rather than throw it out, I started to wear this mascara to work and somehow I really warmed up to it.
It is not a remarkable product, but to be fair I have not yet found a mascara that would seriously WOW me. It does the trick, covers the lashes and stays on pretty well for a number of hours, it didn't smudge either.
The downside of this product is that it leaves my lashes a bit clumpy and in need of combing through - something I haven't had to do in years with any other mascara. The wand is one of the old fashioned brushes, in a slightly different shape although I have not found this impacted the overall effect too much.
At its current price £13.50, I feel that this mascara is slightly pricy. In comparison the best mascara that I have used to date Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara is only £9.99 and constantly on 3for2 so it is more value for money. However, considering that Boots gives away No 7 vouchers literally every month you can always get it £3 cheaper.

I have used it a number of times now - I've been wearing it for almost three weeks now, pretty much on every work day, and I am very much confident that I will not be repurchasing it. It is an average product but I have my drugstore favourites that are less expensive. But it seems to have good reviews from regular customers so I suppose it's just a matter of personal preference.
